Division: As I have said on several occasions previously, the divsions that arise between people (friends) are already there. What you are suggesting is avoiding that which divides us and purely focussing on that which unites us. That is not a very constructive approach for me to further my understanding of the world.
I think that can be extended beyond friends, to our interaction and development as individuals among all of humanity, online and off.

I like that.

Ask Gallstones.
Oh, that's right...she's not here anymore. You know, because of the rape jokes...

I've known Gallstones for years, so pardon me if I tell you to fuck off with your self-serving assumptions.

It was never my intention to try and hold anyone hostage to my feelings.
I never assume that is something I can do.
I simply stated what they were and left it at that.
I am not responsible for what anyone else chose to do as consequent to my having done so.
But here’s the thing about rights. They’re not actually supposed to be voted on. That’s why they’re called rights. ~Rachel Maddow August 2010

I'd like to see that experiment done.
It'll be like the Stanley Milgram Experiment. There's a potential rapist, a victim, a joke-teller and an experimenter. The joke teller tells a few vanilla jokes for the first 5 minutes to the potential rapist, like chicken crossing the road shit, then out of nowhere tells a rape joke. The experimenter asks the potential rapist if (s)he is more likely to rape the victim after having heard the rape joke. Then (s)he answers honestly. Then the joker teller starts up with the vanilla jokes again and rinse and repeat to the desired effect.
Hmmm...not a bad idea...I must depart to the lab...

Twit, twat,
twaddle.
