I did an art course in my late teens and early 20's and we had to pass one subject that outside those of the artistic discipline like painting and life drawing one such subject was "social science". The lecturer of that subject just happened to look on Freud as being the ant’s pants along with Jean Paul Sartre and we had to frequently submit essays on Freud's theories of the id, the ego and the super ego as well as discussing J P Sartre’s writings on being and nothingness. At the time I treated Freud’s theories as factual. I think if I found any of those essays I wrote on his views I would promptly burn them.
Just because more people believe Jesus is the son of God and not the son of Satan does not make it any truer.
