If you could know your date of death?
Would you want to know? how would it effect your remaining time? say you had two years left and knew it?

What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

Re: If you could know your date of death?
I'd buy as many millions in life insurance as I could, and make sure SWMBO'd and Little She were set up for life and then some. I'd pay the two years of premiums in advance, and then I'd stop working and spend every second with my family. Having only 2 years would make me very sad, knowing that my Little She would only carry very sparse memories, if any, of her daddy, and she would only know me from pictures and stories told to her. But, if I only had a short time like 2 years left, i would want to know so that I would shift my finances in the way I described. Knowing that I am not set for life at this point, and still have to plan for Little She's future means I have to make compromises that would not have to be made if I knew for a fact I only had 2 years.
I think I would spend the two years that I had making a presentation similar to what Michael Keaton did in the movie My Life when he finds out he's dying and he videos all sorts of stuff as sort of a love letter to his son who will be born only shortly before he dies.

I'd only like to know maybe a couple of weeks in advance. I've got a long list of mofos that I want to take out, but I don't want to spend very long in prison.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

No worries. If I've only got a couple of weeks I probably won't even get out of my immediate neighborhood. Unless I just leave the bodies where they fall, of course, that would add significant efficiencies of scale.mistermack wrote:I always liked you, mate.
