I've taken in and helped guard a persecuted muslim before.

She was moved around the city, ended up at my girlfriends flat, whilst about 8 of us took shifts guarding the doors (front and back) armed with hammers and screwdrivers 24/7 for three days til we could get her to a safe house in London.

Uh, although she was on the run from her own family for doing a runner on a forced marriage. They had managed to raise a lynch mob and trashed a couple of places looking for her, let it be known they would take it badly if people were found to be helping her.
