I... have never had clotted cream. I've seen it at the store, and haven't really any good idea what it should taste like.

Personally, I'm partial to fresh croissants with Mt Tam cheese and fresh berries. One suspects this is comparable.

It doesn't taste like much except cream... because that's all it is. Its consistency is akin to whipped butter, but smoother and meltier.
