He got obsessed with one strand of the complex evolutionary trajectory of hominid cognition, the part that involves competing to be an alpha individual in a tribe...

Others have had a narrow focus on compassion, or rationality, or curiosity, or humour...

Typically, we are more complex than any single attempt to encapsulate us...

There's a lot more to Nitzche than that though. I found his juxtaposition of good/bad and good/evil to be very interesting.

Nietzscheland is an interesting place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
