Looking for a game ...help

I need a game to play with my joystick :roll:

I Would like to find a game with lots of space combat game but SandBox I hate getting stuck in mission based games .

So if I liked Elite What could you recommend now ? I would rather not have to go online and get my ass kicked by 14yr old experts .


I'm running an AMD triple core with a 1gig gts 250 graphics card if that helps narrow it down for you.
