Yes, I wasn't saying they were...

I'm just a bit weird. Give me books, Rationalia, science magazines, Aussie rules football to watch and gin to drink and I'm a happy chap...

Video games have come a long way. Many of them are more like interactive movies now - some really good story writing involved. Voice acting has come a long way in just the past 7 years as well with many hollywood stars performing and other very skilled actors besides. Also, with the quality of the animation, modelling, texturing, lighting, and sound all approaching or surpassing early computer animated film standards it's pretty amazing.

Okay that does sound pretty neat.

I think this going to be the best game this year. Sucks that not everyone could enjoy it. It's too big for the XBOX though. I'm expecting around 45gb.

If it's a rave I'll expect it on the X-bone.

No. Naughty Dog work exclusively for Sony. You won't see it anywhere else.

I managed to find a Last of Us demo on the interwebz to install on my friend's dodgy PS3. Only problem is, it's in Russian and although I can change the text language there are no subtitles or speech files in with the demo :ddpan:

EDIT: oh wait! There's the subtitles appearing now.

Well they obviously don't want or need more money. Good luck to them.

The game plays brilliantly but the demo is way too small. I was sure it was supposed to have two playable sections, not one. Anyway, the zombie fighting is great fun. They've managed to capture the feeling of struggle and narrowly beating monsters to a tee. Defo can't wait for full game.

Holy shit! Check out all the 10/10s. Looks like The Last of Us has become this year's "must buy."
