I'm debating buying a game. Choices are Call of Duty, Prey, Civilization IV, or Unreal Tournament 2004. Suggestions?

I always felt CoD had more atmosphere than UT04.

Never played 'Prey' and the CiV series puts me to sleep.

If it's Cod4 you're talking about then definitely, the single player has a great story and the controls/graphics.mechanics are all great. It's also so intense and excellent playing on-line too

P.S. Angrychimp, good to see you posting. I've felt guilty ever since I accidentally banned you because I thought you were a sock puppet

I have a downloaded version of COD4, I finished the campaign quickly, was short. Can't get the online to work cuz my downloaded code's always being used by someone else. Anyway, I'm considering COD2 because I also prefer the WWII war stuff over modern shit.

CoD5 is set in WWII (the Japan part of it if I recall correctly) and is supposed to be good. It's also on the Wii and uses a lot of motion controls.

Nah I wanna buy it so I'm sure I get online playing as well.

So... if I get COD2, who here plays it online?

Not many players online in CoD2 anymore. Although there will always be a small hardcore fan base.
If you want ww2 you might consider Day of Defeat:source. I play online almost everynight.

I can't find one but I have seen the game played on Intel powered Macs.

I can't find a Mac version either - you'd need to set up the Mac to run Windows using Bootcamp.

I own it for the PC but doubt I'll play it again, got too many other games to play.

If anybody wants it then give me a PM, free of charge and I'll post it to you. Never been used.
