Downloading Portal
So, Steam is giving out the game Portal for free.
I'm TRYING to download it, but the stupid fucking servers or whatever are too busy and I CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!
Never mind, it's downloading now. :3
... Ssssoooo, if you want the game Portal for free, download it HERE if you want...
ANYWAYS, if you've played Portal, what's your review on the game? :333

Re: Downloading Portal
AMAZING. AWESOME. OTHER SUPERLATIVE WORDS.
I bought the orange box for Half Life, but I didn't love it. It was alright, quite fun, I didn't complete it though. But portal. Oh, portal. A masterpiece of gaming. A shining diamond in a sea of movie tie-in action adventures and bullet peppered third person shooters.
If you're going to play it and you've never tried, don't read too much about it first. The joy of the game is following the learning and discovery of the mechanics and the subtle plot as the lead character. It's very immersive, and clever, and frustrating. It makes you think round corners and you get a real sense of achievement when you manage.

Re: Downloading Portal
I'm not much of a gamer, and even I enjoyed playing Portal. It harks back to the days of classic puzzle games, but with a nice touch of humour thrown in for good measure. Unfortunately, I never managed to finish the last level, however, as I have very little patience. Well worth getting.
