A lot better than I expected.

I thought about buying it but decided against it because it looks like it'll just be another boring hack 'n' slash that's got publicity because it's got blood in it and it's on the Wii (shock horror)
L4D makes sense now that I can remember the conversations down in Cardiff about it. Funny you should bring it up now, Spiro was logged on here about 20 mins ago.

I kinda assumed that too, and just bought it so that more developers would put adult games on the Wii. But, it's awesome. The scoring system, combo system, and gesture control are all amazingly fun. And the art style alone is worth the price of admission.
Then, the story is what blew my mind... No cheesy Beat-em-up storyline this, it was actually penned by one of the main writers from Square/Enix for Final Fantasy.

I thought the plot was just supposed to be like The Running Man with the whole crimianls winning freedom rubbish

I there a Gamecube version?

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Sure, somewhat. But it's a bit more intricate than that.
Even if it were, Running Man is good stuff.

Nope.
Finally an amazing non-first-party Wii exclusive!

I started playing SoC ages ago but never actually finished it, I think I had just defeated the first flying one, or not, I can't remember.
That game is one of the most visually impressive I've ever seen.
This creative team's first game was Ico. If you haven't played that, you ought to check it out. It's just as beautiful, and I actually like it better than SotC.

I've been meaning to get a hold of Ico but it's always so f*ing expensive and I've heard it's really short.
You've got me thinking about SoC now, I'm playing too many things already but will end up putting that on now.
Just remembered that I haven't finished FFXII or Smash Bros. Brawl yet either.

Which format?
Don't shoot anyone, it makes the game so much harder!
In fact, fuck that, it's hard enough as it is, just kill everyone you see.

I need a good strategy game for the PC, getting a bit bored of Empire: Total War. It's a bit easy. (and yes I cranked the level up, it's just the AI that's stupid)
