Ah - the benefit of a PC - just upgrade the graphics card every so often.

The PS4 uses Cloud technology, as well as blu-ray, and some have wondered will this be the last console you might ever really need because future games will be played through the Cloud with servers doing all the graphical work.

Will be watching with interest.

You would need a super fast connection for all the graphics processing to take place remotely. I have read about it though, so let's see!

Not only fast, i.e. able to stream HD video, but also constant, with low ping. Unlike TV there's no option to buffer games. It's always a bit of a problem with on-line multiplayer games anyway, but people put up with it for the benefit of playing with other people. Getting lag on a single player game would annoy the piss out of me. But if the fiber-optic infrastructure is put in place, and the servers etc. are maintained properly, it's plausible.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

I just started it a couple nights ago. It's pretty amazing so far.

I mean the quality of the graphics are starting to look really poor. The PS3's age is really showing of late.

The game looks really good, but it's Unreal engine which looks and runs well on everything.

Definitely looks better on a high end PC, but still looks nice on PS3.

My computer is pretty old. My PS3 is probably more powerful than my computer :hehe:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

After many years (10 years?) I've gone back to the Links 2003 golf game, which was the last release by Microsoft. It's got some unofficial updates which allow it to take advantage of modern wide-screen displays, and other refinements. Running on my 1920 x 1200 monitor, the results are spectacular. Here are some screen-shots reduced to 50% dimensions:

Just finished Demon's Souls. About to tackle New Game +. I still prefer Dark Souls. Wish I hadn't traded it in for far Cry 3 that time :sigh:

If you have Playstation Plus you can download Hitman: Absolution and Catherine for nuffin. I'm sure everyone knows the former and the latter is a pretty neat puzzle game with weird Japanese story :awesome:

Azathoth, check your messages on Playstation.
