Peter, I've seen you playing Heavy Rain, is it any good?

Where else could you go from the taste of raw egg to licking marmalade off tits in such a short space of time?

It's a love or hate thing. Meaning people just won't get it, or they'll think it's a game-changer. It's been years since I enjoyed a game so much. Loved every moment, my heart was often pounding, and I'm desperate to replay it right now.

If you want to work out some anger and just shoot things, it isn't for you. It's a more involving experience. Unlike Mass Effect 2 etc, the feature of the story changing depending on your actions isn't just a novelty feature. It's handled excellently, and it's the first game where I've struggled to make decisions, because the consequences really are huge. And you usually don't have long to decide what you want to do.

It may be strange to understand without playing it, but the actions scenes are among the most intense I've played.

I had my brother staying with me for a while and the PS3 was his. I usually play the 360. He's gone now and I admit I only bought a PS3 with Heavy Rain in mind. Although I've been happy to discovered Uncharted 2. Lighthearted, fun and kick-ass.

Don't forget Killzone 2 a far superior shooter to Halo :hmph:

Played it. Not bad. It ain't difficult to be better than Halo. I've got iPhone shoot-em ups I'd rate along with the Halo series. When the new FF comes out, I'm getting it on PS3 rather than 360 just so I have another game on the new console. :hehe:

So I've read,

But with SC2 coming out soon (already in closed beta testing) D3 will be out after SC2.

Final Fantasy 13 will be out on Tuesday. I have my pre-ordered copy up and ready to go.
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

I can't be bothered using my brain, what are D3 and SC2?

Diablo 3 Starcraft 2

Both Blizzard games, which is why there release dates will be dependent on each other.

This.

Diablo and Starcraft are both amazing, if outdated now.

Keep an eye out for both the new ones if you like either genre (Diablo is an RPG and Starcraft an RTS)
