A Good Book about Camus?

Post by Jay G » Tue Feb 23, 2010 1:32 pm

Hi:

Does anybody out there know if there are any English language books that give a reliable overview of Camus? I recently read a biography that was published last year, but I was not favorably impressed. It seemed to be more of a biography of the book's author than of Camus.

Thanks

Hi jay:

I was going to suggest the biography by Olivier Todd, which I gather is supposed to be very highly regarded - was that the one you were referring to?

No, that's not the one I referred to. Thanks for the suggestion.
