Danny the Champion of the World
...is perhaps the best book of all time. I can't read it and not feel a sense of wonder and delight. I love reading it to my son, and it's become his favourite book too.

I haven't read it in years but I do remember loving it. The only Dahl book I have left is Going Solo, his autobiography. I've given the rest away to various kids of friends or family over the years.
