Actually, I've looked at a couple of pages, and it just might have something going for it.

I think a sharp, crumbly cheshire might be apposite. Or maybe a creamy Caerphilly. Of course, Stilton pretty much goes with anything but I would say a white rather than a blue, which might overpower the more subtle flavours of early 19th century grey-matter.Bella Fortuna wrote:What variety would go best with Empire-era brains? :hum:Xamonas Chegwé wrote:If only it had cheese as well...Bella Fortuna wrote:Two great things together!Xamonas Chegwé wrote:I love Austen - and I love the sound of broken, undead teeth crunching through bone - what could be better than this? Tosh and piffle, young sir. I think you'll find a mature Lancashire, from a herd on the western slopes of the Pennines would be more that adequate for such a repaste.Xamonas Chegwé wrote:I think a sharp, crumbly cheshire might be apposite. I read about this book in Sunday's Observer. It sounds really fucking funny.
