"Danse Macarbe"

Sort of.

I was rather shocked to find that I no longer cared nor had interest for any of King's works. He bores me.

I'm reading a Dashiell Hammett book and feel like having cocktails morning noon and night.

And those people had such fun actual lives, well a few shots here and there and some gangsters I can do without, in the middle of the depression and prohibition and no fucking internet.

Over-achieved on Friday, which lead to muscle-ache during the weekend, so I read through the four first books in Ursula K. LeGuin's Earthsea series once again. They are such wonderful books - I must have read them all at least ten times by now. (A Wizard of Earthsea, The Tombs of Atuan, The Farthest Shore, and Tehanu).

Edit: now continuing with Smile or Die: How Positive Thinking Fooled America and the World by Barbara Ehrenreich (discussed e.g. here: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 51&start=0 ) - whenever school work permits.

They are indeed excellent books by a great writer. Have you read Tales from Earthsea and The Other Wind?

Unfortunately not. One day I will find them in a library or a bookstore, I am sure...
