Sharknado 5 : Global Swarming.

Not as brilliant as the first four....not bad though, if you enjoy badly made movies....

Now suddenly my girlfriend wants to see Thor after initially showing no interest.
Ho hum. Looks like I've to see it a third time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lion: watch it with one eye open whilst you digest a heavy lunch, on a wet Sunday aftetnoon, in your pants.

The Space Between Us: Scientifically annoying.

Ironclad. Amazing overlooked gem of a movie. Might even give the sorry Welsh some hope for the future.

My mother is being admitted to hospital tomorrow for an operation for bowel cancer. It looks pretty positive as far as we can tell but to cheer her up I took her to see Paddington 2 this afternoon. I had intended it being Murder on the Orient Express. I probably would not have gone to see either alone, but the reviews for Paddington 2 were very good, so it won.

I don't think I have seen a more delightful, warm and uplifting movie in years. Huge fun, a few tears if you are prone to those in films. massively entertaining and I recommend it to anyone - especially those who have a tendency to a hardening of the heart!

Kind Hearts And Coronets. Nearly 70 years old but it raised a couple of guffaws.

SPLIT, M Night's latest. I liked it quite a lot, etcetera.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Just saw Justice League. Just - terrible. I'll have more to say tomorrow. Just... need to gather my thoughts.

The Lost City of Z. Manages to make jungly jaunts for mysterious lost cities a bit dull.

The Martian. Yeah, a lot of the so-called science was indistinguishable from so-called fantasy, and a lot of stuff got left out, but I found myself warming to it as it went on - and it seemed to me to embody positive hopes about the future among the present mass of fictional dystopian futures.

A decent enough movie about WWII hero, Desmond Doss, the first conscientious objector ever to get a Congressional Medal of Honor. Let down by jingoism, stereotyping, and a dollop of hero cheese. You know something's off when the first thing you do is rush to the internet to find out what actually happened.

Still, kudos for bringing this guy into focus.

A Matter of Life and Death. With David Niven.

A real oldie.

Watching Victoria and Abdul. Jeez the Brits were up their own arse back then. Like the Americans are now.

:hehe:
