The Unloved. Is life in Scotland really this bleak? Ratcatcher, Trainspotting, The Unloved. Doesn't paint a very positive picture.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Captain Phillips. It was a wee bit TENSE.

The ending was great too when he was being examined by medical lady on the US Navy ship. Like how a real person would react after all that shit.

Gravity. Corny script, bit of "Basil Exposition" here and there but some jaw-dropping visuals. You should see it in Imax and 3D

It's much more bleak than depicted....

You should watch Filth next.

I may watch some more comic book movies, if I'm feeling nostalgic for my long-vanished youth...

Just watched Princess Mononoke. A glorious, Studio Ghibli animation with a bonkers, eco-friendly plot and full of surprises and some wonderful drawing.

Just finished Tokyo Decadence/Topaz/Topazu. It was a film that I have now seen. It may take a while for me to figure out whether or not it was good.

Thor 2: The Dark World.

One of those movies where the individual scenes are better than the movie as a whole.

Dark Horse. Not quite as depressing as I was expecting from a Todd Solondz film. Also not quite as interesting as I was expecting from a Todd Solonz film. Seemed like Solondz-lite. Still worth a watch, though.

The Insider

Very powerful. And some great performances in many roles. I think this may be one of Pacino's finest. Didn't expect that, actually. Took me by surprise.
