Katy Perry made a fan out of me.

Did any of you see Jon Stewart's "Night of Too Many Stars" benefit show?

I've always been meh at best for Katy Perry, but watching her tonight, so focused on her partner, gently working to help keep the time, sending her fan all the warmth and energy she could with her body language...

Here. Give it a watch:

See that little girl at the end-- how she wraps her arms around Katy. That sort of warm, sweet, childlike gesture-- that might have been hard won for her. And Katy hugs her right back. You can see how she feels that she's the honored one.

Jodi diPiazza-- that's her name. She did such a great job! How many 11-year-olds wish they could have been her-- could have had such poise!

I'm sorry. I'm gushing. But it really moved me.

Yay, Jodi diPiazza! Yay Katy Perry! You both are fireworks! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

[I can't get the youtube link to work. Does anyone know a fix?]

ETA-- Thanks Zilla! :D
