...That it's 18 years since Star Trek The Next Generation ended; which happens to be how long it was between the original series ending and TNG starting.

But we've also had three more Star Trek shows since STNG, deep space 9, voyager, and enterprise.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
