This movie was medium, somewhere in the middle, and that's about it.

Seth MacFarlane's New Movie -- Ted

Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Was it hilariously funny lighthearted, harmless fun?

Or, was it awful, misogynistic, sexist drivel? http://iamafeminist.net/2012/06/24/seth ... f-garbage/

Or, both, I guess?Image

The woman in the above article is calling Seth sexist because he's not afraid to make women the butt of a joke. This seems backwards to me. To me not involving women in the comedy and demeaning them instead treating them like delicate flowers who must be guarded against insensitivity is sexist.

I knew there would be flack from that crowd about this movie.

Note -- she cites Ted's antics in the checkout line of the supermarket as "sexual harassment." A teddy bear... Making sexual gestures toward a woman, who was evidently enjoying it, and obviously welcomed it, because she went on to engaging in sexual relations with the bear in the back room, is "sexual harassment" ....

And, referring to certain names as "white trash" names is "not flattering" to women.

I think it's that last bit that is telling. This "feminist" wants only "flattering" things to be said of women. LOL

Not enough choices. It was more than medium, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was awesome.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

That's what the "Mila Kunis is hot" choice is for....

Doesn't look funny enough to me to go to the theatre to see it, so I'll wait until it comes out on cable. I do like Seth McFarlane though, some of his stuff is pretty funny.
