When I was in high school, I got all 14 hours of it on VHS from my town library and watched them back-to-back. I don't know how many times I've watched the series in bits and pieces since.
Ken Burns' best documentary, by far (his photo-lingering + voice-over film technique, which works so well here, wore thin for me in his other ventures.)
I'm a little embarrassed I'll lose atheist cred for this, but 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic" always gives me goosebumps.
