It was this review that made me look up the trailer

"And since we last had a movies thread I watched Robo Geisha and that was utterly, utterly awesome as well. If you've seen the bonkers trailer, the film is just like that. Absurd, terrible special effects, but what other film has a godzilla being controller by what looks like a Wii eating buildings that spurt blood? Or an arse-sword fight? Or.... or.... it just has to be seen! :D"

"arse sword fight"!!

I have to see it now. You don't get that in a Merchant Ivory film.

What can you say about this film? It's just one of the oddest films I've seen in a while. It defies any type of logic.
The film is about a bunch of people, called "Engineers", who can basically grow weapons out of their wounds. So someone loses and arm and a chainsaw might come out. The main character is a police officer hunting them. Usually with buckets - and I mean buckets - of blood. The stuff sprays out like a hose. It makes it very hard to take it seriously, though, and makes it comical.
The whole pace and editing of the film are wrong and the story has holes you could drive a Light Cycle through. Probably just for fans of gore. You'll laugh at most of it. Especially the ending which becomes an exercise in seeing just how far over the top one can push a film.

Clearly Hiroshima wasn't enough.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."
