Living Proof.

Post by Existentialist1844 » Wed May 06, 2009 3:08 am

Rent Living Proof. Its based on a true story about Dr. Slamon who devotes his life trying to find a cure for breast cancer. I really enjoyed the movie. Its sad at times, but really represents one man's devotion to a specific cause.

Why?
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

Sounds very worthwhile. It almost certainly tugs at the emotions shamelessly and, according to the write-ups, it is well acted and scripted.

It is the sort of film I would walk a mile to avoid. Not because I doubt its sincerity or quality, simply because I hate that kind of obvious emotioneering.

Not a cure per se, but he has helped prolong, as well as save hundreds of lives.

Not in all cases, of course not. But the survival rate is much higher than it was a few decades back. Hopefully our Jen adds one more to the good side of the stats.
