Does anyone watch that show, and what do you think about it?

I've been watching it since it started over here, tuesdays at 9 on sky1 for anyone in UK/Eire.

It's OK, not a patch on BSG but still very watchable, there religious aspects to the plot are a little meh though.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Missed the start of that on sci-fi over here, it's starting on one of the other channels in the next week or two so I'll give it a look. The trailers seem pretty good though.

I'd like it more if I didn't know the ending. ;)

Honestly, I like the allegory in it, but it gets a little heavy-handed sometimes. Big kudos for including an openly gay criminal syndicate hit-man in a rewarding, functional relationship!

I thought it was "frack" for fuck. Variant would be fracking or, for the lazy, frackin', though I don't really understand how substituting a single phoneme would do a lot of good. Also, fracked, which still has the lazy people stumped.... though I'm sure they'll find a way to frack up a phoneme somewhere.

Fracking is also a term used to describe a process used in the extraction of methane gas, which happens a lot out here. So I get to hear wildcatters and roughnecks complain about the fucking fracking.

Haha, I'm guessing from the first comment you followed BSG until the end

I like this so far. We'll see.

And, yeah Kiki, it's "Frak". Carried over from Battlestar.
