Are you getting nervous yet Eli?Elessarina wrote:Animavore wrote:That maybe so (I haven't seen it) but the Academy are politically predictable. A black film about black issues made by a black man. I reckon its a strong contender to win.
Precious won't win - it's behind Inglorious Basterds to win the award.. Best Picture is a two horse race between Avatar and Locker... trust me I know these things Ani.. I know people in the know
If Precious wins Best Picture I'll post a picture of my ass in NSFW

No not really... I think it will go to the Hurt Locker but it's very close.. I haven't had any feedback on what the buzz is out there yet.Animavore wrote: Are you getting nervous yet Eli?
I wanted to put an accumulator on the oscar results but couldn't

Why not
Ladbrokes just wouldn't let me do an accumulator on all the oscars results that after I went through all the effort of setting up a damn account.
I'm staying up tonight though Ani.. have tomorrow off work. I love the Oscars
Re: Avatar
What time is it on at? I've to be up early in the morning. Have (yet) another job interview. Gonna see a couple of movies tomorrow after while I'm in town. Have a monthly ticket which I still haven't collected. After this one I'll be getting one a month so I'll be seeing just about everything that comes out.
Don't know what to see tomorrow. I was thinking of risking Alice in Wonderland but I don't like the look of it.

Alice in Wonderland has had pretty dire reviews from what I have seen and one I saw yesterday said it's entertaining for kids but adults will be bored
Re: Avatar
Mark Kermode didn't like it and as our opinions generally overlap I'm guessing its not. 'Zilla really liked it though. But I suspect he's getting old and weepy. Probably will start becoming senile soonElessarina wrote:Oscars start at 1.00am.. and usually finishes about 5.Animavore wrote:What time is it on at?
