Movie about the immoral, corporate scum (calling a spade a spade) behind spreading seeds of doubt against science, from the tobacco industry to climate change denialist movement. My jaw dropped a couple of times at the pure shamelessness of these lying shits at court. I also found out that the tobacco industry knew about cancer from their own scientists back in the 50s and that it was addictive in the 60s and they decided to bury the evidence. Shades of Exxon who recently got busted having known about climate change from their own scientists back in the 80s.
One particularly odious piece of crap openly boasted about the dirty tactics he uses to "debate" climate scientists and felt proud about posting climate scientists email addresses which led to them getting serious death threats and abuse. The prick was laughing about it.
Well worth a watch.

Unrealistic in places. Meant for a Australian audience clearly. Can't fault the cinematic photography though. And everyone spoke so sincere in those quiet deepish whispers meant to tickle our a tear or two from the sentimental and soft. My wife liked it anyway.

I wanted to like it, I liked the brothers. The love interest angle was really contrived and ruined it for me though.

Movie seemed to be all about the blurred lines - reality and the impossible, peace and war, life and death, love and necessity, and I guess that's going to resonant dependant on life experiences? Someone coming from a honour culture or having a close knowledge of honour culture 'choices' might have take more from that aspect?

Tristan and Isolde, rather derivative of Game of Thrones with aspects of Matty Groves the well known folk song - good story albeit not excellent.

Watching Maggie. Unusual zombie film. More drama than horror. I like it. And Schwarzenegger gives an unexpectedly fine performance.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Avengers: Age of Ultron - Bloody good superhero romp. Plenty of action. Enough human interaction bits to keep the plot interesting without distracting too much from the explosions. Some witty one-liners. Flawless SFX. It passes.
Ex Machina - A nice three-way drama. Lots of awkwardness between the players. A hideously claustrophobic set despite the stunning surroundings and, although i didn't know exactly what was coming, I pretty much guessed. Still enjoyable though - and i guessed a couple of other ways it could have gone as well - so it wasn't that obvious.

Harrumph. Nothing beats the original TV series.

Jurassic World: Without a doubt the worst movie I'll see this year, and I haven't even seen the new Terminator film.

Yeah I was right. It's worse than the new Terminator film.

Watched the original Star Wars for lulz. I never realised how bad Return of the Jedi was. The other 2 were ok though.

Oh, Emma!
Still classy as hell though in Game of Thrones.

Elysium. Good movie albeit spoilt by the violence which prevented my wife watching more than half of it. Doesn't bother me - nothing much does these days. I'm prepared for Armageddon - my stomach is Armageddon fortified.
