Oh, jolly good! Thanks, Rachel
Just watched The Sixth Sense last night. Hadn't seen it in years. Perfect movie, wonderfully done. Shame M Night hasn't been able to duplicate the magic

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Sixth Sense was horseshit.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

Complete horseshit.

Hatter I expect to be a poopy pants. But, Ani, why didn't you like Sixth Sense? I thought it was wonderfully done, well acted, and very poetic.

It was well acted, yes, but the story was shockingly bad.
As was the writing.
And the premise.
And the 'twist'.

Took fifteen minutes to figure out why he wasn't interacting with anyone except the kid, who sees dead people..

1) Annoying kid.
2) Predictable ending.
3) Boring.
4) My friend's wanted to see James Bond, but I convinced them to watch this bilge and didn't live it down for weeks.
5) Annoying kid (I swear I wanted to punch his face in).
6) Ghosts don't exist.
I'm sure there's more, but it's a long time since I've seen it.

Well of course ghosts don't exist. But it's fiction, and I take it as fiction, so that didn't bother me.
An annoying kid could easily killed the movie, but I thought Osment gave a rather good performance
I didn't see the twist ending coming

But even if I did, it wouldn't have mattered. I still like the way the story unfolded.

You didn't see the end early on?

Naw, I honestly didn't. I guess I just wasn't thinking too hard on it. But even if I did, it wouldn't have bothered me. The surprise ending wasn't all there was to the movie, and overall I thought it was very fresh and original.

I guess my biggest problem was Bruce Willis as a child psychologist. "Yippee Kai-Yai-Yay, motherfucker."

LOL I hadn't seen Die Hard before I watched Sixth Sense, so I guess I didn't have that image of him in my head. My only problem with Bruce Willis in this film was his fake hair.

The first time I saw Die Hard on national television they had dubbed it "Yippee-ki-Yay Kimosabe".
I didn't know it was "mother fucker" for years.
