For now though, I'm going with Ink, a 2009 independent film by Jamin Winans which, in this troubled time of digital economy bills, reminds me that free sharing of information is a very good thing for the creative industry, as torrents are where many people, including me, first heard about it. And it's refreshingly different from the films Hollywood has been churning out recently.
Sounds like

I've changed my mind - The Lion King is the best movie ever. (blame the inner child)

WTF? Only four reviews on RottenTomatoes for Ink (all good though). Not even enough for a T-Meter score.

Just watched that film Ink and it's rather good I must say.
If someone gives writer/director Jamin Winas a bigger budget and someone to help him write dialogue I'm sure he'll be a name to watch out for in the future.

The original Bad News Bears is prolly one of my all-time favorites. Abe Vigoda (looking old even then) is simply incorrigible as the drunken coach. Jodie Foster is in fine form as the pitcher Abe's character, Mr Buttermilquetoast, enlists into the team much to the initial dismay of the boys. Also of note is a decent turn by a young Jan Michael-Vincent as the punk kid with the great throwing arm who grudgingly accepts a position on the team. Michel-Vincent has made a bit of a comeback after years away from acting, most recently showing up as a lead character in Dee Snyder's faithful film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's comic book Mr Punch.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Actually, it was Walter Matthau, not Abe Vigoda.
I think that language has a lot to do with interfering in our relationship to direct experience. A simple thing like metaphor will allows you to go to a place and say 'this is like that'. Well, this isn't like that. This is like this.

I wish I could say Apocalypse Now or The Seven Samurai or some other well known classic that everyone likes, but every time I try to watch the best movies ever made I'm bored to tears.
Since I can't think of any other movies I'll go with Big Fish for now.
Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Ah. Besides that, I believe all the other details are correct

I thought Big Fish was awful

I wanted to like it. I
expected to like it. Only I didn't
