What didn't you like out the film, FIO?
It wasn't at all what either of us expected. About half an hour into the movie, we both looked at each other and were like 'What..the...fuck?'. Don't wanna spoil it for you in case you see it, but it's sci-fi. I had no idea. I usually like sci-fi, but this one had some unusual points in it. Some situations that no parent wants to think about, and this movie made me think about it constantly for like a week after seeing it. Still makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it.

Got 'Moon' on DVD as it wasn't released locally in the cinema. Watched it last night. Great idea, good plot. Great acting.

Sad though.

I watched "The Rocker" last night. A silly comedy in the style of Detroit City Rocks. It was entertaining.

I love that film.

I just watched Terminator Salvation. It won't set your world on fire but it's not a bad old action movie. Nowhere near as bad as the reviews, I was expecting something of Michael Bey proportions, but maybe my poor expectations aided my overall impression.

I rarely go to movies. I enjoy dropping my kids off at the movies, then if I am lucky I get to spend nearly two hours at Barnes and Noble. However, I did go to a Christmas Carol (3-d, Jim Carrey) and I liked it. It was a mostly faithful adaptation and there were some beautiful 3-d moments. I could pick it apart, but I have seen much worse. Roger Ebert is getting soft with his reviews. I think he thinks that another day above ground is a good day, and he has become far too charitable to marginal movies. My wife and I enjoyed "Five Hundred Days of Summer." It was cute, well done, occasionally profound. I loved "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and so did my wife. BellaFortuna, my wife and I both love "the Women" Norma Shearer, not Meg Ryan. Jungle Red !

Might get dragged to this, Lady Huxley loves a good disaster flick.
