Glad to see A Prophet getting kudos. That was my top film of 2010.
It's actually a 2009 film but it had it's UK and Ireland release in January.
I'm sure I've seen a couple more films.

I've been meaning to check for anything by the same director. It's definitely one of the best films I've seen in a while. Have you seen Gomorrah?

No but a friend has been recommending it to me the last few weeks. I keep meaning to get it off him but haven't had a chance. From the director of City of God I believe.

No, not the same director, but they do have a lot of similarities in style.

144. Tron Legacy - pretty much what I was expecting. Not enough Michael Sheen, and Jeff Bridges was totally the dude again :tea:
145. Is Anybody There - mainly about a boy whose parents run a retirement home and his friendship with one of the residents (Michael Caine). Understated but really good

They were going to start here about 2 years ago, but decided against it, preferring to concentrate on the US market. LoveFilm do a similar thing here for a monthly subscription.

So it's not free in the US? It just seems to be so wide spread there.

It's pretty cheap from what I remember. But LoveFilm is cheap here too.

It's not free (though they give out 2 week and month trials) but its only $10 (£5.9) a month and that gets you unlimited viewing of streaming (of which the library is huge) as well as one dvd out at a time (I manage 2 or 3 a week because it's usually a day turnaround).

146. How to Get Ahead in Advertising - Not quite what I was expecting, but very strange and entertaining. I may have nightmares about talking boils tonight though :?

147. Mutants - A type of zombie film, no backstory to the characters and more mutation for the zombies...really well made and definitely worth a watch if you're a zombie fan, but lacking something overall.
148. Hideous Kinky - I've meant to watch this for years, but another "meh" from me
