Just been to see it for the first time and it won't be the last! I'd kept as clear of the hype as possible and had only seen the one trailer. Bloody brilliant film. Did anybody else notice that Cameron used musical riffs from Alien in some of the fight scenes?

James Horner certainly has his style nailed down. There were a few cues from ENEMY AT THE GATES and GLORY as well. I did like the themes though, especially the Na'vi themes and during Jake's first flight.

Same here wrt reading the thread. Saw the movie in 2D once and loved it. Going to see it in IMAX tomorrow with #3. (The one who's not talking about or hinting at marriage. :hehe: )
