I hated Gran Torino. Mostly because of Clint Eastwood's voice. He´s NOT so cool that he has to talk like that
Like rape scenes??? Do you like rape scenes?

Erm.... maybe I could have worded that better.

102. Mid-August Lunch - Italian movie, no sex, no violence, no action and yet thoroughly enjoyable

103. Transylvania - Hard to sum up in a few words, but more than worth a look

104. Eddie Izzard: Madison Square Garden - From his "stripped" tour. Thought it was fantastic as usual

105. Hamlet 2 - Pretty great, some parts a bit slow or misguided but the 3rd act is the big payoff that makes it worth it

106. It's kind of a funny story - really enjoyed this, a dramedy about a teen who turns himself into a psych ward after fearing he's going to kill himself. I wasn't existing much from it but by the end I was like

Remind me, is a dramedy one hump or two?

107. The King's Speech - Meh. Colin Firth is so likeable it's easy to cheer for him, but beyond the sentimentality it's about the King saving face for the throne and in that sense I kind of would have preferred he sounded like an idiot

108. You will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger - Not Annie Hall, but not Small Time Crooks either

109. Love and Other Drugs - Better than expected, still the end contradicts the sincerity of earlier scenes that made it good

110. Animal Kingdom - tense and excellent

no.
112. Gun Shy - Kind of ridiculous, but enjoyable fluff. Plus, it's Liam Neeson
