Fucking angry. Furious. These people should suffer for what they did.
Is there for honest poverty
That hangs his heid and a' that
The coward slave, we pass him by
We dare be puir for a' that.

I sense a derail in the making here. :levi:

FWIW, I am very leery indeed of Moore's documentary style. :coffee:

Nicely nipped in the bud there.

I enjoyed Bowling for Columbine, but the second one was a bit rubbish imo. Moore ain't no George Orwell, for all his pretensions.

I recently saw The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas and its the only time I ever saw a film adaptation that was better than the book it was based on.

Regarding Moore, watch the BILL MOYERS interview with Wendell Potter, who was an executive at Cigna (health insurance company) about how the insurance industry smeared Michael Moore and his movie "Sicko" in the press. Quite astonishing.

That was interesting. I wonder how much flack he caught for being honest.

I'm watching Mon Oncle. What a brilliant amusing film, with perfect visual humour and camera work.

The most interesting documentary regarding Moore is the one that was done about Moore and his 'techniques'. Basically I'd never watch another of his doco's because he is a self-aggrandizing and manipulative liar.
