You may be a writer .. but who are you and what have you written? I don't want an answer I am just making a point.

Criticise all you want - I would simply say....James Cameron is the one whose work has made $790million in two weeks if you are so clever .. why don't you do that?
I might mention further: I have no talent for appealing to the least common denominator. Not all of us can be P.T. Barnum or Walt Disney.

While I did find it cliche, it almost felt sort of homely to be surrounded in so many corny sci-fi themes. I quite liked it like that, even though I usually prefer more intelligent cinema. And, yes, the CGI was so spectacular I was gobsmacked.

Good enough reason to go.

Went in to see this film again tonight with my friend and his little nephew and it was sold out. Ended up seeing Sherlock Holmes again because there is nothing else out there at the moment that I would watch. Still the other 2 enjoyed Sherlock Holmes which is nice after I recommended it. It would've been vicious if they didn't. We should be going in to see Avatar next Saturday.

Not seen it, not intending to but just one point - I'm failing to see any connection between how much money its made at the box office and how good it is. McDonalds make a shed load of money but they ain't selling chateaubriand.
