What always gets me is the units of measurement. In Dan Dare they were using Imperial. :lol:

I had ALL the copies of the Eagle stored in my bedroom. When I came back 'on leave' (National Service) one weekend I found that my Mum had dumped them.
They'd be worth a fortune now.

As I have said before I had issues #1 of Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, The Avengers, Thor and a couple of others when I was about 12. It never occurred to me that they would be worth a fortune one day. I just sumped them when I got a bit bored with comics. ARGH!
