Best Buy sold one of my cousins a monitor that rotates because she couldn't print pictures in portrait mode. (And yes, I sent her there to find one. :twisted:)

Like books, TV and radio have both good and bad content. I find it troubling when people say they never read a book. No offense to anyone, but I feel similarly about people who say they never listen to the Radio or watch TV, but hey, if you're comfortable in your bubble, stay there.

I've been out of touch for the last ten years or so. Probably longer. The key to being out of touch is not to turn the telly on at all.

Ever since I stopped watching TV I find I'm much happier.

Plus, mind too filled up with internet garbage and forums and memes to have any room for other crap.

Whenever we I travel somewhere, I pull the TV, stereo and computer plugs out. The TV has not been reconnected since I have returned from New Zealand a bit over a month ago even though I have bought about 15 DVDs since then.

I never watch TVs in hotels. I find something depressing about it. If I can't be out seeing and doing stuff while travelling, I'd rather be editing photos from the day, or reading about where I am, or be online a bit.

Since I stopped watching TV my DVDs have increased too, since I wanted things to watch while riding my exercise bike without resorting to TV, which makes me crazy and anxious.

I really needed some earphones at the time, so I bought some. He just couldn't believe me that I don't watch TV and therefore don't own a TV.

Yes, I agree. Although I don't have a clew who the latest person to win a talent show or be thrown out of a reality show is, I follow the news almost additively.
