Which Comedians are not funny? (anymore or ever)

Lenny Henry - mediocre in 1976, fitted in well back then.
Paul Merton - f#cking lazy, just re-cycling the same old stuff.

I don't get Sarah Silverman. She kinda just seems like a bitch.

I also don't really get Katt Williams. Or Tyler Perry. Or Martin Lawrence.
I'm listing these together in case there's something cultural I'm missing, but there's a huge list of black comedians who make me laugh my ass off, so I'm not sure if it's not just that they actually aren't all that funny.

Steve Martin is still one of my favorites, but my gawd he makes some bad films.

Billy Crystal seems to have passed his prime a long time ago--
Though I'm not sure-- was he really a comedian? Or more of a "humorist"?
He's likeable, still. Just not all that funny.

But I'll stick with the ones I can actualy name off the top of my head.

Billy Crystal is mostly funny now, because he's gone all Hollywood and had his face fucked up by plastic surgery.

1. Fawlty Towers (I recognise the genius, but it doesn't cause me to laugh anymore)
2. A lot of Monty Python's Flying Circus has lost its comic impact. Still great, but as a historical artefact rather than living comedy. (Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life are still great).

Perhaps oddly I find the Derek & Clive stuff among their least funny material, I think because they grew to try too hard to shock instead of being clever and humourous.
