Accurate reviews come from people at street level. The other people in the audience. The more directly involved in the industry someone is the more distorted their perspective. You wouldn't ask a paint manufacturer which are the best paintings because the big sell would be on the ones with the most expensive pigments. :read:

The people whose reviews I read are not film manufacturers, nor are they paid by film manufacturers. They can be pretty helpful guides. There used to be one reviewer whose articles I read avidly, because experience taught me to avoid films he recommended, and consider watching the ones he panned.

The current movie making sector is corrupted with too much cash flow and too much ego - it is a relic of a bygone age when dinaraptors roamed the big screen.....something like youtube, once cheap high quality movie making tools are available for the masses, will mean more diversity and a higher value placed on inventive story telling by the little guys/gals....

Once the dollar collapses and hollywood is taken out of the picture the age of the 42" Movie will begin - the first true global movie culture, they've re-invented the electric guitar - people just don't know it, yet. :smoke:

Thanks for the synopsis. Truly awful film by the sound of that. You forgot to mention the title of the film, though.

AWh. That's not cool. Why'd they have to go a fuck up that series? :(

I went to see Wild Zero at a film festival. It's in Japanese, and they had forgotten to check if it had subtitles. So I watched a bit without subtitles, then went to get my money back

But it seemed like an awesome movie, so I had to download it and watch it at home (it was great!)

Diary of the Dead is the worst zombie film I've ever seen.

I should have walked out of Chain Reaction, but I stayed until the bitter end.

We should of walked out of Stardust but we were planning on hopping into another film after and leaving would've meant hanging around the lobby.

I haven't movie hopped in ages :ask:
I might do it today and take in Hanna and Fast 5.

It takes a lot to get me to even go to the movies so I try to make sure I KNOW I'm going to enjoy what I'm going to watch. Ok, yeah....Movie Nazi. :nazi:

Yeah, pretty much what Eva said. I'm really skeptical about commercialized movies, so when I do go to the theatre it's for something worthwhile usually.
