We don't have cable either. Too many bad things for my kids to accidentally see on TV these days. I watch old episodes of Law & Order on Netflix!
Hmmm. I hadn't thought of that. Netflix was gonna expand up here in '05 but cancelled, though we have a supposed equivalent - zip.ca only does mail, whereas I think you can download Netflix, no?) But I can get Law & Order and about 3/4 of number of movie titles... Thx, FIO... Maybe I'll try it.

And hey... If ya wanna try, you can see my bro starring in a movie with Franco Nero... T'aint pretty and there's no happy end... but it's a true story.

I'm addicted to Heroes at the moment. I like Dexter too and anything with David Attenborough, but apart from that not much else except odd documentaries that I find interesting. I will definitely be watching Comic Relief on Friday.....got a bottle of wine and a take away planned for when that's on.

Heroes, Lost, Battlestar Galactica for my Sci-Fi fix, family guy, simpsons and futurama for my laughs. Generally flick through all the documentary channels for background when I'm online. My laptop is usually poised so that I can keep one eye on the screen and one on the tv.

Surfthechannel is excellent for old TV shows, has a great selection of stuff from the past few years.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

House MD for me, though I rarely get around to watching it. I love the series though. And I have a huge crush on Lisa Edelstein. :)

And I'm developing a huge addiction to All In The Family.

I have a few series I watch regularly - Breaking Bad (my newest favorite), Weeds, True Blood and...

Real Time with Bill Maher. And tomorrow's episode includes Christopher Hitchens.

T.V. is for when I'm too tired to read, or need to shut down mentally. I could easily live without cable, but I would have to keep my Netflix (DVD Mail service) account.

Woot.

I see the standard pattern has been followed (as with all other series of The Apprentice). The women bitch and moan and stab each other in the backs from day 1. :coffee:
