The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover
*shudder*

And I have also walked out of the Albert Hall halfway through a Billy Connolly gig. And I've left a theatre after the first speech from Richard III.

Pfft, it was Derek Jacobi. He's an old man. Wrath might lend him an initial burst of speed, but I'm bound to out-pace him over a distance.

OH! I know. We ended up going to Ben Stein's Intelligent Design film for lolz which was total bullshit and my friends were wanting to leave but I wanted to stay to continue heckling it.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

They're trying to bump up the numbers on that dog by hosting free showings for believers. Even at "free" it's over-priced.

Yes, I think so. It was a Fassbinder festival.

These unemployed bums and their women in Germany talked and smoked either in an apartment or a pub across the street, in black and white, for 90 minutes. Once an angry neighbor came to yell at the door in a language unknown to me. That was the highlight for me. Then the next night there was a movie that was worse but I don't remember anything, just that I walked out and saw all but one in the festival for the reduced series price.

I walked out of "The Pianist" because it was too depressing and I was very pregnant.
