Just finished watching this...
Was fascinating and quite an eye opener.

I would have liked to have heard more from the ex faith healer about whether he (and other faith healers like him) was aware of the fraudulent nature of what he was doing when he was training or in the early stages of becoming a faith healer. The guy was aware of the duplicity, but because his faith healing resulted in the death of his own daughter, unlike the proven frauds mentioned, it wasn't clear if he was being intentionally fraudulent before that.

They should have been a little more confrontational with religion in general. It appeared there was a undercurrent of dividing 'good religion' from 'bad religion' when it's all deception, even the self-deception is.

Just got through watching this. the last two posts sum up my reservations too - but overall, I think it was very well done. In fact, I think I could even recommend it to the religious people I know without having them scream that it was atheist propaganda - so in that respect, I think the carefulness not to attack religion head-on (while I would have loved to have seen it personally) was right.

I think it was good that he didn't attack religion and faith directly, as it's a separate argument and viewers would have missed the important message he was conveying about the fraud of faith healing.

I think he could have included a quip or statistic at the very end that would pass over most of the audience but still cause some cognitive dissonance amongst the thinking devout? There are ways of doing this without handing the enemy your own ammunition?
