Uncut I think. It was the "screener version" and supposedly uncut. I actually had a bit of trouble getting to sleep last night because I couldn't get a couple of the images out of my head. The newborn porn scene in particular was something I'd quite like mindbleach for. I didn't find it so bad at the time, as I know it's only fiction, but it came back to haunt me when I was trying to sleep.
Yeah that's the uncut. It was a bit more graphic. The cut version had the same shit but just not as much detail. A couple of things are a bit more off camera or weren't as overkill.

Anyway, I slept like a.. eh, baby last night.
I just had a dream where I was talking to Christopher Hitchens at a debate thingy. He was in bits with a hangover and said he was never coming to Ireland again

Perhaps I shouldn't have watched it right before bedtime. :ask:

I did actually think it was a good film though. The story was funny in places and it was really good visually too. The brother thing was more than a bit predictable. Some of the reviews suggest it's just an excuse to get away with depicting gross stuff, but it goes a bit deeper than that, about how our culture does pay money for suffeing (even ordinary porn). And from the point of view of Serbians too, it must be an interesting comment on the corrupt nature of their culture. They make some references to war criminals in the film at one point, I think when he's killing the prostitute.

Yeah, I felt there was stuff there that was a little over my head. I know fuck all about Serbia.

They'll be talking about this one for years to come. Especially when I bring it to a wider audience the next time I'm in the pub :P

If I was you I would read the wiki page on it first then decide.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life
