Where the wild things are... the movie?

"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

It looks brilliant, doesn't it? I'm very much looking forward to it. I also got Arcade Fire's CD, Funeral, as a result of watching the trailers. I'd never heard of the band before, although apparently they're very popular in some circles.

Funny thing about Where the Wild Things Are. I'd never read the book while growing up. Despite it being hugely popular and very much critically acclaimed, I'd never even heard of it  It's not like I grew up living under a rock or anything. Honest :?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

And the teacher set down the book to talk to her students about what she had just read. "Now kids, what do you think the moral of this story was?"

Little Susie called out, "Not to act like thugs, because there are real thugs out there and if we fuck with them they'll stab us and shit!"

"Very good Susie." And that's Where the Wild Things Are.
