Watching Season 2 of Tokyo Vice....brilliant. I was in Tokyo for a few weeks in the early 80s and they nailed the look and feel. Lots of good memories.

need to chase down the book it is based on ....excellent casting.

I am trying to find redeeming virtue. I do like disaster flicks and it is number 3 in Australia but ...

sometimes you just HAVE to watch a bad movie to appreciate the good ones.... :banghead:

Not even a five-star two-star film?

It's interesting seeing keira knightly as a middle aged woman. Last time I saw her in a movie she was 20.

The Wild Robot. Story was decent. Visually, though, this is one of the most beautiful animated films I've ever seen.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I rewatched Day Shift, with Jamie Foxx. It was quite a lot of fun.

Anora an acquired taste. My first visit to Japan was also in the 70s - big effort to recreate it.
Some serious good acting. The timid librarian was hilariously well done.
