Re: What Are You Watching Now?
Sweet Country premiered at the 74th Venice Film Festival on 6 September 2017, where it won the Special Jury Prize award.
The film is based on a real life true crime murder case where an Aboriginal man was arrested and put on trial for murdering a white man in central Australia ...
quite a last line barely audible

On to another tough movie and true
Could not finish Monster

Re: What Are You Watching Now?
Been bingeing the 8 Harry Potter movies in 4k. Dialed in better now both visual ( sorted HDR10 ) and audible ( hearing aids for dialogue detail ). The HDR works better to fill in dark details but they slide into impossible to watch on the last two except under ideal viewing. Music much better with corrected hearing.
Lusting for Game of Thrones 4k HDR but $320 for the set ....I'll pass.

Re: What Are You Watching Now?
Still bingeing Harry Potter but in between decided to try the Rebel Moon flicks.
Good cast, marginal CGi, the first flick with worse shooting than Star Wars. Very stilted dialogue...could use a
funnybone.
Glad to see him in action ...if you've not seen this on AppleTV ...it's very worthwhile and a very unlikely true story.
Book is excellent too.
On to part two considering myself a masochist.
Love the robot.

Re: What Are You Watching Now?
Watched it when it first came out but too long between seasons. There are 6 seasons now so time for a rewatch binge.
Sam Neill was well known of course but Cillian Murphy was not...is now.

Re: What Are You Watching Now?
I've been watching The Orville on Amazon. Kind of a light-hearted but loving tribute to Star Trek Next Gen. Took a bit of getting used to, but it has good characters and some really interesting storylines.

Just stumbled on this and recalled being blown away at the time.
From this phone salesman auditioning for Britain's Got Talent
The reaction of the judges and audience is just precious.
