I'm not exactly an RDF refugee as I haven't been a regular there since the days of the AFDave (excuse my language) Fludde Debate, but I was alerted to the existence of this ostensibly fine establishment by a thread elsewhere about the goings on at RDF.
I mainly signed up to offer support to those who were shafted as a result of the recent actions at RDF. It's nice to see that Dawkins has posted a public apology for the way things were handled but he still seems to be missing the point somewhat, in that the very things he wants to get rid of are the basis of any sense of community yet he appears to think that getting rid of them can be done without affecting the sense of community.
That said, it is his website so I suppose he can do what he likes. You get that.
ETA: Oh and if one of the admins could give me access to the NSFW board whenever they have the time that would be cool. Thanks.

While I have Teh Admin online, would dropping a linked userbar in my sig be considered out of line? I don't like to spam but see nothing wrong with a little promotion and have no objection to others doing the same on the site I help to run. I'm happy to go with whatever the flow is here though. Hey Callibutterflythingy! Not sure where The Flatulent One is now but I'm sure he is lowering the tone of wherever it is. I don't stop in at TalkShitloads very often. He was there a while back but he seemed to have lost his mojo. Been shredded too often methinks and is just sorta going through the motions now. Bit like a dung beetle in that respect.
