Hi

Another RDFugee following a link in somebody's avatar pic at the RDF site. I used to post as ***** though I doubt anyone will recognise the name as I didn't post much. I Don't really understand why the forum was closed but tbh I agree that it had become more of a virtual mugging alley where trivia made up 90% of the daily posts whilst people waited for a creationist to pass by, who'd get both barrels. I hope this site has more to offer.

A little about me...

I'm an agnostic atheist, heavily on the atheist end of the scale. I respect people's freedom to worship but I believe they should be actively encouraged not to excercise that right via education. My own children (Both too young to comprehend at the moment) will have 100% freedom to choose their own path in life, but they'll certainly be encouraged to critically examine what they're being told.

Politically I consider myself a Conservative liberal, I'm pro Europe, pro Democracy and pro Capitalism.

I enjoy online video games, movies, metal music, gigs / festivals, real ales.
I'm interested in the Economy, Politics and Current Affairs as well as Science and Technology.
