Greetings rationaliens

Post by GrayToneS » Sat Feb 27, 2010 10:42 am

The name is Mr. Gray.
I am a non-religious American male.
I'm an "RDF refugee". Regrettably, I didnt post as much as I could have the short year I was there, using it mainly for its educational criteria and "current affairs" news articles rather than its debating/discussion potentials; which is something I'll look to correct with my fresh start here at rationalia.

Already I've noticed quite a substantial change in my forum transfer, like the surplus of beautiful women here at rationalia which may hinder at least one of my heads from clear thinking, so please excuse any dumbfounded moments of illiteracy while I make adjustments.
And I'm loving the "Sport" section, with a popular thread for American football (which will be overrun shortly with know-it-all foreign "refugee's" flooding in from RDF claiming theirs is the real 'football').

I am friendly.
I am rabid.
I don't have rabies.

Hi Mr. Gray, and welcome to Ratz!

We've got a well stocked bar around here too.
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

'Mr' Gray? Welcome. OFC it is 'Grey' in England..

By the way, none of our girly members are 'surplus' as you suggest.

Just so we got off on the right foot and all that.

Hiya, GrayToneS, glad to have you aboard. Looks like you've already met a couple of the local throwbacks. :FBM:

What's your position on the merits of bacon, btw? :ele:

Judging by your lack of a proper noun, I take it your making a statement rather than an introduction?
I, however, am not normal, Normal. With no doubt we have a lot in common!
Love the avatar!

Yes!
The tail is black.
I can deal w/ that.

That's actually a common misperception, lagomorphs aren't native to Australia, and in fact are a very devastating intrusive species brought from England.

I'm not entirely familiar w/ your english text acronym? Whats OFC???
You are right though, but its all of Europe that uses the E instead of the A.
You havnt been to RDF have you? I would consider it a 'surplus' upon first comparison, but you could be right (I hope not).
Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks.
Bacon is high in saturated fat and sodium nitrite (I try to watch my figure), salty, greasy, and (the majority) comes from filthy pig farms. Not my favorite side order for breakfast, personally I still use the old german interpretation of 'bacon', which is "buttock".
But I love the 'buttock' in BLT's!!!
